Account Deletion

Account Deletion

Last updated: June 30, 2026 Effective: June 30, 2026

This page explains how account deletion works in TixMemo, including where to find it, how we verify identity, what happens after deletion, and how related data is handled.

1. Where to delete your account

In the app, go to:

My → Settings → Delete Account

Follow the on-screen steps to submit feedback, verify your identity, confirm the risks, and complete deletion.

If you cannot sign in, contact us using the details below. To protect your account, we may ask you to provide information proving account ownership.

2. Before you delete

Please confirm that:

  • you have backed up any ticket records, photos, notes or tags you want to keep;
  • any pending membership, payment, refund or support issue has been handled;
  • you understand that the account cannot be used after deletion;
  • you understand that cloud records are usually not recoverable after deletion;
  • you understand that the linked phone number or email enters a 15-day cooldown before it can be used to register again;
  • you understand that PRO benefits stop with the deleted account, and refunds follow the actual payment channel’s rules.

3. Deletion flow

The current in-app flow usually includes:

  1. Choose a deletion reason. New users may also be asked how they found the app.
  2. Review the retention/contact page and choose whether to continue.
  3. Verify your identity by SMS code or by login password.
  4. Check the risk acknowledgement.
  5. Confirm again and submit.

SMS verification requires a linked phone number. Code sending may require image captcha verification first.

4. What happens after deletion

After successful deletion:

  • the account is disabled immediately;
  • active login sessions are removed;
  • you can no longer use that account for sign-in, sync, upload, AI recognition or cloud access;
  • PRO membership, activation-code benefits and trial benefits tied to the account can no longer be used;
  • the linked phone number or email cannot be used to register again for 15 days;
  • calendar subscriptions, cloud images, ticket records, tags and other account data are handled under the data rules below.

Deletion is usually irreversible. If you only want to stop using the app for a while, signing out is safer than deleting the account.

5. Data handling

After deletion, we handle your information according to the Privacy Policy. In the current system:

  • login sessions are deleted and the account is marked as deleted;
  • phone and email identities are invalidated and held for a 15-day cooldown;
  • free-text deletion feedback is cleared, and the feedback record is disconnected from your user ID, leaving only aggregated fields that do not directly identify you;
  • ticket records, photos, tags, venues, membership snapshots, order snapshots and logs are deleted, anonymized or isolated from access within legal, payment, audit, security, backup and cleanup constraints;
  • transaction records, payment records, security logs, dispute materials, compliance records and other legally required information may be kept for the minimum necessary period;
  • backup copies are deleted or anonymized during normal backup rotation or cleanup cycles.

Account disabling usually takes effect immediately. Full data cleanup may take longer because of backups, audits, payment reconciliation, third-party platform rules or legal requirements.

6. Registering again

The same phone number or email cannot be used for a new registration during the 15-day cooldown. After the cooldown, you may register again in the app, but the deleted account’s data and benefits are usually not restored.

7. Contact

Contact us if:

  • you cannot sign in but want to delete your account;
  • you cannot receive a verification code;
  • you forgot your password and cannot verify your identity;
  • you submitted deletion by mistake;
  • you have questions about data, membership or payment after deletion.
